Happy Birthday Hannah!!!

Today is Hannah's first birthday! This past year has flown by in amazing fashion. I can't believe how much she has changed in one year. Hannah is an extremely sweet natured baby who is a great sleeper, plays well, and is easy going. I can't believe how blessed I am to be her mommy. She steals our hearts daily with her sweet smiles and gentle spirit. I can't wait to see what the next year will be like with her. The fact that I get to be at home every day with her is truly amazing. Watching her grow and change every day is so much fun.

It seems like momentous days, like birthdays, I am reminded of all the things that I want for my kids. Of course there are things like health and safety, but more than anything, I want my kids to know Jesus and love Him. I pray that they will know and experience the God of mercy and love and not just know about Him. I pray that more than anything they will know that we love them as their parents, but I want them to know that God loves them even more than we do. We are truly blessed.
BLESSED. IN. A. BIG. WAY.
Here are a couple of pictures of our beautiful baby girl:

So, Faith is a Charismatic When Treated with Albuterol...

Faith's favorite song to sing is "Jesus Loves Me." It's way cute. I love her sweet little voice. She's so stinking amazing. Now take all that sweetness and add albuterol...parents with asthmatic children know what I'm saying. Instead of sweet, soft "Jesus Loves Me," you get crazy, loud, hands raised, dancing, exultant "Jesus Loves Me." It's pretty awesome. Sadly, I know how that makes me sound as a mom. Just let it slide. I do not drug my child for entertainment purposes. I swear. I guess this is a perk of having an asthmatic child. I will take a charismatic any day...after all, Jesus does love her.
Pictures to come later.
