Holy Cow Batman!

So the past month has been crazy for us. I haven't been doing a very good job of updating the blog, but in my defense, life has been out of control. God has done a good job of showing us who's boss and how good He really is. So, here's what has been going on.

In case you didn't know, Tyron got a new job. He is now the Head Boy's Basketball Coach at Farmersville High School. Such a blessing! With this new blessing came a couple of unexpected complications. The first and second complications came just about 3 weeks ago when we were informed that Tyron wouldn't be getting paid in August. No pay. No insurance. YIKES!!!! God totally provided for us though. Praise God. Talk about scary! The third came in a more expected way...Tyron is coaching football on top of his basketball duties. He is going to be working 7 days a week until the season is over. If you want to keep up with how the Farmers are doing, just click on the word "farmers."

Our house is STILL on the market. We had a huge scare last week when a prospective buyer was concerned that our house had foundation problems. We had a structural engineer come out and inspect our foundation, and he found that we had a minor problem that would self correct with watering and landscaping changes. We were so freaked out that we would have to come up with a thousands of dollars to repair our foundation. Fortunately, that was not the case. Praise God!! Tyron and I are completely convinced that God himself came to our house the night before the inspection and lifted our house. So, after many, many tears shed on my part and many prayers, our foundation is in tact, and I have found perspective where my house is concerned. I am no longer obsessed with it selling. It will sale when God ordains it. Can I get an Amen?

The kids are doing well. They are all changing pretty much daily. Luke is anxious to go to school even though he won't start Kindergarten for 2 more years. He is still obsessed with hoops and is still as sweet as ever. Faith is getting so big. She talks a ton, and she loves doing front rolls. She plays babies every day and shoots hoops with her big brother. She can even make it with the hoop at 5 feet. Hannah is sitting up by herself and is being introduced to the exciting new world of baby food. She laughs and coos and purrs. Yes, I said purrs. When she loves on you she purrs. It's so funny! She is also starting to do a little talking. She is saying Ma Ma Ma and trying to do Da Da Da. So fun! In no time at all she will be 6 months old!

I will try to do a better job of updating the blog. No promises though. Enjoy all the pictures!
